“Every child deserves an opportunity, every child deserves safety & every child matters!”
Who we are!
At Let’s Make Change, we understand the growing need for children to access meaningful one-to-one support. Our experienced team has worked extensively within schools and across the wider community, guiding young people through a range of challenges and celebrating their successes along the way.
We provide a dynamic mentoring programme that is both supportive and inspiring. Our services include vocational qualifications in Sport, Functional Skills in Maths and English, as well as a broad selection of PSHE topics designed to build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
We are particularly committed to supporting children and young people who are not currently in mainstream education. We work closely with schools, local authorities, and families to provide bespoke educational placements and mentoring support tailored to individual needs. Our flexible and inclusive approach ensures every young person has access to high-quality learning opportunities in a safe, nurturing environment.
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. All our staff are fully trained, DBS-checked, and work within robust safeguarding frameworks to ensure the welfare and protection of every child we support. We take pride in creating safe, trusted spaces where children feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
At Let’s Make Change, we don’t just support children – we help them rediscover their potential and build a brighter future.
What we offer
BrainBox - GB Boxing Qualifications
Our Brainbox programme guides pupils through their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Boxing Awards, each delivered over a 12-week period. These awards can be accredited towards recognised qualifications such as GCSEs, ASDAN, BTEC, or The Prince’s Trust.
Sessions are led by qualified boxing coaches and offered on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, teaching the fundamentals of boxing to help young people develop confidence, discipline, resilience, and a sense of achievement.
Each programme can be tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils or small groups. We welcome children of all fitness levels and abilities, including those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
Engage - PSHE/Mentorship
Our dynamic one-to-one mentorship programme pairs children with trusted mentors who deliver PSHE topics in a way that is engaging, relevant, and impactful. At Let’s Make Change, we don’t just teach lessons — we build relationships that help young people understand themselves, make better choices, and feel more confident about their future.
Through topics such as mental wellbeing, healthy relationships, managing emotions, and building resilience, mentors use conversation, real-life examples, and interactive activities to bring learning to life. This personalised, supportive approach helps pupils see the value in what they’re learning and how it applies to their daily lives.
For pupils who are disengaged, struggling with behaviour, or facing personal challenges, this programme can be a turning point — boosting confidence, motivation, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and are especially effective for children with SEND or SEMH needs.
By focusing on the whole child, we create a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow — both in school and beyond.
Functional Skills Maths & English
At Let’s Make Change, supporting pupils to achieve Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths is one of the core aims of our provision. These vital qualifications are delivered through one-to-one sessions in safe, welcoming community spaces, where learners feel supported, focused, and free from the pressures of a traditional classroom.
Our approach is personalised and nurturing, helping each child build the core literacy and numeracy skills needed to succeed — not just academically, but in everyday life. By working closely with experienced tutors, pupils can overcome barriers to learning, develop self-confidence, and make steady, measurable progress.
These qualifications provide more than just a certificate — they offer a genuine pathway to further education, training, and employment, helping young people take meaningful steps towards their future. Through this programme, we aim to ensure every learner leaves with real achievements, practical skills, and a renewed belief in their own potential.
